Alum Bay Isle of Wight

Newport is the Isle of Wight’s main town and sits roughly in the middle of the island, bordered by a number of beautiful coastline villages, each currently boasting a number of flats and houses for sale by the sea. Firmly accepted as the Island's cultural capital, Newport is home to museums, a dynamic performing arts centre, as well as some notable sights.

The aptly named Seaview – you guessed it – benefits from some truly spectacular sea views and, quite rightly,  is regarded as one of the best seaside towns on the Isle of Wight. Close to the town of Ryde, where most tourists reach the island by ferry or hovercraft, it's a popular holiday destination, beloved for its laid-back vibe and breathtaking vistas over the Solent.

On the northern tip of the Island lies the popular holiday destination Cowes, another great location for laid-back seaside living. The Isle of Wight’s gateway town has a population of 11,000 and was once home to Queen Victoria and poets Swinburn and Alfred Lord Tennyson.
