Around 32 years ago, my husband was working in Plymouth in the prison services and we relocated here to our home. It was our first choice and we are so glad we came here as the house gave us everything we needed when the kids were younger. Many years down the line and with kids all gone and working on the mainland, it is now time to head back across the water to be closer to them and the grandchildren. I will really miss this home as 32 years is a very long time in one house and I have made some wonderful friends here as the neighbours are so lovely. We have also looked after our home and upgraded things when needed and I know from my heart that whoever comes here next will have a lovely home to enjoy for many years to come.
