We purchased this home over 50 years ago from new and were the first ones to move in, back then there were loads of kids in the street but in more recent years with people buying the houses around here from the Council, they tend to stay and the children have moved on.

Ventnor has always had a real community feel and especially Upper Ventnor where neighbours would always look out for one another, and I think that is why people stay around here.
